So I figured we'd take the train, since it's a two hour walk. I haven't actually taken it before.

Really? Neither have I. I enjoy walking, so I've never bothered.

[dumbjockenergy]

Yeah, if it's less than an hour, you might as well just walk there. Especially with something like the gym. You can take the train in about 20 minutes, but I get my morning run in getting there instead so it takes roughly the same time.

[ popping out her phone to check the map. ]

Have you been to the zoo before?

Just once. Though I didn't really explore it, very much.

Well, thanks for coming back with me. I was actually really excited about doing this. I haven't seen much of Tokyo-F yet.

Really? There's a lot of cool stuff here, we should go visit all of it!

We should! There's so much to see. It's been a few weeks, but I haven't really taken the time to enjoy stuff outside of the hotel.

With it getting colder, it's been tempting to go to the hot springs.

Oh, oh! They're really nice! Or at least, the ones we have at home are. I've never been to the public springs.

I read that it's supposed to be relaxing but I don't think I've ever relaxed a day in my life.

Hah. I don't think I ever had, either. Until coming here and being forced to.

It's nice, when I'm not busy hating it. You should try it.

So I've been told... I just get antsy if I'm not doing something productive.

Cultivating relationships is productive, don't you think?

You're right. But contingency plans and lift goals are a lot less complicated than people.

Warfare and social interaction are a lot more similar than you might think, actually.

I don't know, warfare doesn't tell me [ in a stuffy but saccharinely sweet voice as she mimes holding a wine glass ] "Adora, your eye contact is too intense, instructor Grizzlor thinks you're challenging him. You must learn to reign that in, my dear."

Hah! That's true enough, I suppose. I always found it to be more in the experience of warfare. Training for warfare never really teaches you how other people think, all that much.

You've mentioned that kind of thing before.

[ she checks her phone again as they get closer to train station, then goes fishing in her bag for a water, offering one out to Sashay. ]

Are you a soldier too?

I guess you could say that! I haven't been part of any army for a very long time though, as far as I remember.
